The Calm After the Storm

December 17, 2005 at 11:22 am (Uncategorized)

As I sit here and write this the sun is coming in through the window and warming my face. The warmth feels good. This is what they call the calm after the storm. Yesterday morning at 7 AM was a true winter blizzard day that I have not seen in a long time.

You could not see the next corner, the snow was coming down real hard and there was no sun to been anywhere. It was just dark and real snowy. All in all we had 41 centimeters of snow dumped on us; with winds and blowing snow everywhere we had some serious snow banks. I have always liked the day after the storm, you are always guaranteed a nice sunny day. I just came back from running some errands. It is really nice outside. There is a beautiful warm sun and all is white. We will have our white Christmas after all.

Speaking of Christmas, Happy Holidays to all, no matter what you are celebrating. I wish you all, Love, Health, and Happiness for the holidays.  Remember to be generous to your fellow man if you can. Just a dollar if you see someone panhandling will put a smile on his face.

Christmas in not just the season of receiving, it is important to remember to give as well. Giving can make you happier than receiving.
