Musical Interlude

During the last few days I have been listening to some really good music and wanted to just share that with you all. I have been listening to Harmonium, a great progressive rock band from the seventies.

For those of you that do not know Harmonium, it is a Quebecois rock band founded by Serge Fiori, Michel Normandeau, and Louis Valois. The group only produced three albums and then called it quits. The albums are just incredible works of music especially the last one, which has mixes of all musical styles blended together to produce an album of just seven songs. After this last album, the group went on a tour and decided that even if that even if they wanted to, they could not make a better album to follow the last one. They had reached a musical summit.

One has to respect Harmonium for that, it was a wise decision. It is better to just dissolve the group as opposed to some bands that stick together forever and only put out mediocre stuff to sell albums, and tour. Vive Harmonium.
